Decolonizing Nutrition Workshops

A Food & Memory Journey – A Workshop for Change

Nutrition isn’t neutral—it’s political.
From the demonization of ancestral foods to the ways Eurocentric nutrition guidelines erase cultural wisdom, what we eat has been shaped by colonization.
💡 But food has always been about more than just survival—it’s about identity, resistance, and liberation.
Through guided reflections and interactive exercises, we’ll dive deep into our personal and collective food histories, challenging colonial narratives and reclaiming ancestral wisdom.

An interesting way to explore the ideas of colonialism and how it affects everyday life. It was so refreshing to feel able to connect with others and think about this in a non-judgmental way—without feeling judged.
A hands-on workshop with plenty of interaction that helps you identify and reflect on colonial influences in your eating habits.
