Course Instructors
Dr Leila Dehghan
Nutritionist (ANutr), Personal Trainer, Holistic Coach
Dr Leila Dehghan is a doctor turned nutritionist and personal trainer. Her debilitating migraines compelled her to quit her medical career. Driven by her ethical beliefs, Leila adopted a vegan lifestyle and eventually healed her migraines by following a whole food plant-based diet. This transformation led her to pursue a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate at eCornell, affiliated with Cornell University, and a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from the University College of London. As an amateur martial artist she takes a keen interest in sports nutrition and has previously contributed to a clinical handbook by authoring the chapter “Plant-based nutrition for Athletes”.
Leila’s passion for education led her to found the PlantEd Academy, where she aims to raise awareness about the advantages of plant-based diets for creating a sustainable and healthier future.
